The fishing has been slow with the rivers being high and at times completely unfishable. I can tell you this. The weather cooling off and the freezing levels dropping has me excited. The East Fork lewis is fishable and there are steelhead to be caught. The Cowlitz has late run Silvers and early Steelhead showing up at the Hatchery. The Satsop and Kalama are dropping and should be fishable this weekend. All of the coastal rivers are drop[ping and once they are in the hatchery steelhead will be there. It is time to get back on the water! Bundle up, give me a call and get ready for hammer time on the fish. I will be working the sticks hard thru the winter with most of my time spent fishing the East Fork Lewis and the Kalama. I will also run Silver trips on the Satsop and mixed bag Steelhead and Coho trips are available on the Satsop right now.
